Thank you for your interest in our website. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Please find detailed information on how we treat your data below.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. With each website visit, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains information such as the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the visit.

These access data are evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our online presence. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR, this helps to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our online presence, which take priority within the scope of a balancing of interests. All access data will be deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Data is in part processed by our service providers which we have engaged to render hosting and website presentation services. Unless otherwise stated in this Data Privacy Statement, all data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose on this website are processed on their servers. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us via the contact information provided in this Data Privacy Statement. Our service providers are located in the USA. There is no adequacy decision for the USA by the European Commission. Our cooperation with them is based on these safeguards: standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Content Delivery Network

To shorten the load time, we use a Content Delivery Network (“CDN”) for some of our offers.

This service provides content, e.g., large media files, via regionally distributed servers of external CDN service providers. For this reason, access data are processed on the servers of these service providers. Our service providers work for us by means of an order processing agreement. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please use the contact option described in this Data Privacy Statement. Our service providers are located in the USA. There is no adequacy decision for the USA by the European Commission. Our cooperation with them is based on these safeguards: standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

2. Data collection and use when contacting us

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because we require the data to process your contact request and you will otherwise not be able to send the contact request. It is evident in each input form what data are collected. We use the data provided by you in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (b) GDPR for processing your enquiries. After fully processing your customer request, your data will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (a) GDPR or we reserve the right to use your data for purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this notice.

Moreover, we use technologies to comply with the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g., to be able to demonstrate that you have consented to the processing of your personal data) and also for web analyses and online marketing. This is required under Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (c) GDPR to comply with the legal obligation to which we are subject under Art. 7 (1) GDPR, which states that we must be able to demonstrate that you have consented to the processing of your personal data. The Jimdo Consent Manager Tool is provided by Jimdo GmbH, Stresemannstrasse 375, 22761 Hamburg, Germany (“Jimdo”). In addition, a cookie is also used that contains information about your consent behavior. Your data will be deleted after 365 days, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (a) GDPR or we reserve the right to use your personal data for other purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this notice.
